We’re proud to continue expanding access to Frets & Refrains through two community-supported scholarship funds. These programs help ensure that talented musicians of all backgrounds can join us at camp—no matter their financial circumstances.
Zoe KLimley Scholarship Details
Zoe Klimley was a lovely, vibrant, seventeen-year-old who attended Frets & Refrains in 2013, making an impression on everyone through her vivacity, enthusiasm, bravery, and warmth. When she died suddenly in 2014, we who knew her decided to honor her brief but beautiful life with the establishment of a scholarship fund in her honor.
Through this program, we are able to offer a small number of scholarships for talented young people. Each scholarship will be awarded to a person under 18, and will include a chaperone ticket. Each scholarship is individually allocated in the form of registration discounts for Frets & Refrains.
We are actively seeking enthusiastic, young people with a passion for music and a desire to attend Frets and Refrains; but lacking the finances to do so.
